Most damage that looks like a crack is a crack, so you should stop riding the bike immediately. This post will be reviewed by the moderation team.

I’m having trouble understanding what is broken, but here are the two parts that could be:

    https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/spare-and-wear-parts/spare-wear-parts/canyon-e218-15-topcap/10009508.html

Hopefully you are ex-US and live somewhere with that expander plug in stock. If not there are 3rd party options for 1-1/4″ steerers but it gets complicated because canyon uses an M4 bolt thru the proprietary top cap when everyone else uses M5.

almost happened to me too, I saw 4nm on the inside and i tried torquing it down but the cap bended and then I noticed something is wrong.
This looks like a major fuckup, but definitely doable.
There are a couple of methods to try:
easiest is probably getting some left hand extractors from the hardware store, drilling a hole and then have a try at the bolt.
or some left hand drill bits. I would not use a welder as this is carbon and the resin will get damaged if you do so.
you can also take it to a machine shop and they will do it for you. Buy a couple of beers for them and you have a decent chance they will do it for free.

Good luck and keep us updated!
