I finally broke down and got myself some actual climbing gears to replace the 12 year old road compact setup on my commuter. I can’t wait to be able to not go full send on every climb to be able to make it without walking! (Swapped the 12-26 to 11-36)
I thought about swapping to a 1x setup in the front, but decided to hold off for now. It looks so much more modern with the big gears in the back.

What are your chainring sizes up front? I’m trying to part together a new double drivetrain, and those look big to me, like 52/40 or close to it.
