I recently got my tires flat and bought a new interior since my last one cant be fixed anymore. As i was about to put my wheel back, i saw the axle was moving. Cant fix it myself cuz i dont have the proper tools and bike shops are far from my home and even if i wanted to go to a bike shop, im out of money since i needed to buy a new interior.
Can i still use it and just try not to skid?
I use my bike to go to school
I do plan to buy new wheelsets

does the axle feel rough when you rotate it or when you rotate the wheel on it?
if doesnt,
go to bike shop,
borrow their cone wrenches and [adjust the axle’s cones](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnwVHPgpgVQ) to desired bearing preload and tighten the locknut next to it.
It’s might be fixable if it hasn’t been ridden much like that. One of the lock nuts might be loose so it might be simple to tighten it up for a short term fix.
Do not ride it like that though.
If you ride it without correcting this play, it may cause damage to the internal parts. It’s a small adjustment, so the service charge if any should be minimal.
