Aeroad SLX Di2 Stem Gap

Yesterday I received the shipment of my new Canyon Aeroad. After assembly, and taking a good glance at it, I noticed this gap, and the hole.

Canyon claims that the gap is normal, and it’s there by design for stem to move around, which at first made sense, but after I got home and moved the handlebar, it didn’t need that gap at all, it’s not oval, but just round.

In addition, this weird hole, which canyon replied with “sorry you have a paint issue”. They almost got me on it, but once again, after I got home to check the bike, it is not paint tissue, IT’S A HOLE.
