So there are two bikes I can get for the same amount of money ($800 cash) locally: A[’19 Giant TCX Advanced](https://99spokes.com/bikes/giant/2019/tcx-advanced) (cyclocross) with Apex 1×11 drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes in very good condition. And a [’21 Vitus Zenium Ultegra](https://us.vitusbikes.com/products/vitus-zenium-crs-road-bike-ultegra) with a nice full 2×11 Ultegra mechanical setup and hydraulic disc brakes in good condition (drive side fork and rear derailleur have small scratches from a crash)
I’m only looking to buy a fun extra bike to ride around for a while, so wondering which you think would have a better resale value if I want to sell it later for other toys.
I’m leaning more towards Vitus because of the value of Ultegra groupset, although Vitus is now a direct-to-consumer brand.
