I don’t know the year, but think it’s over priced. I would not offer more than $350 for it.

  2. Looks like it’s a [2005 Allez Elite triple](https://bikeindex.org/bikes/3670).

Apparently, it’s a steel frame (heat-treated SLX) and not aluminum.

Personally, that factor alone makes the bike worth more than an aluminum bike.

For instance, I was willing to part ways with a Specialized Allez Elite 2015 alu frame with carbon fork and Tiagra 4700 drivetrain for $400 while hoping to get $500, because I’m not a fan of aluminum.

But was willing to pay $500 for a 2001 Lemond Zurich because it was Reynolds 853 steel.

But that’s just me. All that is to say, if it is indeed Columbus SLX (do look into it more), and you like the ride feel and it fits, and it runs smoothly, it might be worth $350-500.

Wheel clearance on these bikes is very limited, I have one from the same era and I can only fit 25 mm tyres. This makes the ride much less pleasant, less safe because of smaller contact patch, and slower than wider tyres on most surfaces.

You should check the tyre clearance before you buy, most of the time the tightest spot is the frame between the back wheel and the seatpost tube. If your budget allows I would look for options with wider clearance, this is the single most important factor in ride quality and safety, which you cannot change afterwards.
