Two weeks ago I took my Kona Sutra SE on a short 3 day bikepacking trip. Started near Doesburg in the Netherlands, stayed the first night at a camping near Winterswijk and pedaled into Germany the next day.
I planned the route to go through Naturpark Hohe Mark. I was met with some beautiful forest gravel paths. I made my way to a camping near Bocholt for my second night.
After a warm night with thunderstorms and rain, I had a nice and cool day of cycling back to the Netherlands, to the camping in Doesburg where I parked my car.
It was so nice to cycle in a part of the Netherlands I didn’t know yet (de Achterhoek) and experience how green, quiet and beautiful this area is compared to where I live (central part of the Netherlands).
Next up is 5 days bikepacking The Black Forest in Germany, starting on June 19th.
