Found this torker LP at a Goodwill in Virginia for 10 bucks. It's got some damage, but she seems to run smooth for the most part. I have little to no knowledge on BMX bikes and I have no idea as to whether restoration is even worth it on this. Any suggestions? And if I were to sell it unrestored, any ideas on how much it's actually worth? From what I can tell, it was untouched for a very long time and I'd assume there's some rust somewhere on it. Paint is coming off in some spots but the frame itself looks to be in really good shape

I would’ve snagged it too. Has to at least be worth more than $10 haha. Seems like it would be worth restoring! I’m ultimately unhelpful here though I have no idea. That’s a sweet Goodwill pickup regardless.

  2. That could seriously be worth $1k -$3k to the right collector. There is a torker appreciation group on Facebook with some Australians who are gaga for anything Torker.

Yea I wouldn’t fix it up. People will pay more for it as is rather than fixed up

  4. From what I see about the serial number, looks like the frame was made February 1980 (TY), and the L is Low Profile. Numbers are the bikes number in the model series.

Definitely a good score for what you paid for it. OG Skyways (coaster brake?), and are those Sugino cranks?
