Recently purchased a 2022 canyon endurance cf sl 8 from sa private seller. Took it to the bike shop for a tune up and given a clean bill of health. However, I noticed a small fissure on the bike, and I’m not sure if this is a crack or just chipped paint. Turning to the community for help. I have included a picture for analysis

We can’t help you. Get it checked out, it looks bad.
Very hard to tell from the picture. Is the frame flexible when you press near it with your finger?
Probably best to sand it down and inspect the carbon … I would not ride that ride now tbh.
Well my 2022 Endurace CF SLX broke in the same spot, and the carbon actually snapped. Canyon wouldn’t replace the frame because I had gravel tires on the bike and they said they aren’t made for gravel… though I only ever took it on very light gravel.

Slightly higher up
That looks serious. How have you not noticed that before buying the bike?
Looks like a strike from a stone with compression into the carbon under the paint. Wouldn’t ride before an evaluation from a professional.
Get it checked by a professional or contact Canyon.
