Yeah.. that noise would make my nuts a bit tight, too!

(Sorry. I am not able to diagnose what is making that noise, but I do hope you get some *actual* help, and soon.)

Given the fact it’s happening on the lowest point of your right leg’s circuit there could be two primary causes:

    1) It’s the bearings in your pedal (not necessarily the right one, could be either), or

    2) It’s your bottom bracket.

To test the pedal, just give them a spin and see if they feel smooth or lumpy. For the bottom bracket, spin your cranks (by NOT holding on to the pedal) and feel for the same.

Squeaks on bikes are notoriously hard to diagnose because they can come from anywhere and sound like they’re coming from somewhere else.

Saddles and seatposts are also notoriously creaky. Again, this would manifest itself in a rhythmic way. To test that, try pedalling while standing up out of the seat. If you have a creaky seatpost DO NOT lubricate it on a brompton. Just tighten the seat clamp a smidge. If it’s the seat, you can lightly grease the rails.

    Good luck.
