in Switzerland’s Zurich they have opened a bike only tunnel 440 m long up to 6 m wide and completely off limits to cars it runs right under the city’s busiest train station connecting districts four and five with ease with over 1,200 secure parking it’s not just a tunnel it’s progress a bold move toward cleaner smarter cities

When will this insanity stop, for proxy 1mij. Years ago CO2 was 3000% higher than now??? If we continue to lower CO2 by a 0.2% trees and bushes will start to die, giving less oxygen for us to bread hence we will die to, so just go on and the madness on the eart will diminished bei them selves 🤣🤣🤣
🎉
Awesome!!
This is by all means ridiculous. this is just part of the European obsession to make the people ride bicycles, what about making good and wider streets, and buildings with parking lots nooo it's better to do a little cave…
Perfect 👌
That's nice, but if I don't ride a bike do I still have to pay for it?
We can't imagine how they maintain such cleanliness
let's see how long it takes until it is taken over by the smell of piss and drugs 🙁
THE EARTH NEEDS TO SEE THIS!
In finland helsinki also jave bike tunnel under central railway station with bike locker station.😊😊
Yeah it's easier to manage less population with good economy, unlike india where population is the largest but economically, still need time, it's growing sure, so does the population, only when the economy surpass the population then only india can achieve such development in my unpopular opinion.
Why ?
Bla bla bla. The tunnel exsisted for decades. It was meant as a car tunnel to serve a parking lot under the main Station but the lot was never built so that tunnel was closed off until the citizens of Zürich decided they could use it as a bike tunnel instead of letting it rot.
Not for children.
Im pretty sure it can also be used by emergency vehicles.
With costs of 40 million Swiss bucks for an already existing tunnel 🤷♂️
