I want to get a bike and I came across this late 60s ish Schwinn.
Seller says it’s road ready, however I am really looking for something with multiple speeds and brakes… but this bike is cool and I can’t get it out of my head. Can it become a multi speed bike and can I add brakes? I’d probably take it to a shop and wouldn’t attempt myself, if I was to purchase this bike.
I’m very new to this so I figure this might be the right spot to ask this question.
(Seller doesn’t have incredible photos but hopefully the one I included could give you an idea.)
