The longest day’s ride of this trip so far, with just over 100kms covered. It’s brutally hot, with temperatures mid 30s. Thankfully, I got the hills out of the way early on, but a long, straight road reflecting heat was the only way into Larisa.
good morning it’s day six of the bike tour and I’m just leaving Achilio now it’s Monday morning and it’s about 10 to 9 leaving the sea behind me and now I’ve got to go and tackle some hills speaking of bits so this is the road I’m coming up and I started off at sea level over there somewhere about 30 kilometers to go to Larissa the temperature is 35° thankfully the road is flat but this sun is relentless so I reckon I’ve got another two stops and then I’ll be there well this church on the side of the road’s a bit of a find the gate was open so I came in it’s a little picnic bench i might check the water let’s see if there is some and the answer is yes well this will do for a 10-minute break I think
