Beginner cyclist working up to my first 100mi race this fall. I've been riding a Frankenstein'ed Tommasso Imola that weirdly has very old and outdated mismatched groupsets. Been struggling with my shifters and figured I might as well purchase a new (used) bike.
Specialized Dolce (2016) is going for $750, full 105 groupset + upgraded saddle and looks like its in great shape. From the pictures posted, looks like the OG rider might have upgraded to disk brakes as well.
GT Attack 3.0 (2014) is cheap at $250 (what I paid for my current Frankenstein bike), and also looks like it's in good condition, Sora groupset and also comes with aero bars.
Two concerns: I know GT doesn't really "do" road bikes anymore, so not sure what that would mean if I purchased. Also, I think closer to the big ride, I'll likely invest in something more expensive anyway, which is why I'm slightly leaning towards the cheaper option here.

Gt doesn’t really do bikes at all anymore. They are kind of under.
For 750 you can get a more recent bike
