10km into my ride I had a HUGE rusty, bent nail, like 5-6mm in my back tire. Unfortunately it also punctured the sidewall. I was unable to fix the sidewall on the trail, but at least I got home with this patch. Right now it seems stable, as no more air is leaking. The sealant + sidewall patch eventually sealed the small hole for now. It this damage fixable by getting a normal tire fix patch as shown on the inner sidewall or is this tire cooked? Also, should I leave the hole plug in or also fix it from inside with a patch?
