morning welcome back to another bike ventures video today we’re in Paris Breham Beacons and we’re going to have a 28 mile trundle and back up and down the Monmouth Sherman Breen Canal there it is look looks like chocolate could be in Willy Wonker’s chocolate factory but yeah there’s Lisa just scooting on ahead we’ve got our eldest with us today he doesn’t want to be on camera so uh yeah I’ll pop you on the bike and we’ll we’ll have a trundle and I’ll show you some things of interest hope you enjoy see you on the trail and today we’re heading up to the uh Green up to the canal basin there promise the eldest the point otherwise he’s I don’t know if I can be bothered yeah stunning already lovely old canal thank you buddy so this canal runs 35 miles in total 56k I think that is you can’t beat British summer can you rain been in Wales for 3 days it’s nothing but rain but it is warm yes it was awful today’s a lot better for showers today even though it’s no forecast to rain at all but there you go look at this beautiful [Music] oo ooh [Music] [Applause] sweep [Music] that’s [Music] right come [Music] [Music] on [Music] And we can squeeze through there i think I’m just going to have to snap branches off josh [Music] really low yeah we’d have to go back quite a way to get on it yeah if I hold that back all right gear side up Josh yeah send it other way it’d help if you didn’t have such ginormous bars it’s this bit here look you got to get right you got to get your bike really low almost carry it like a crab i like to do that wow all part of the adventure eh gravel bike and chainsaw [Music] [Music] a lovely little marina and caravan site there as well the canal lovely no idea where exactly where we are i think we’re about 3 4 mile from Brecon I think yeah lovely warming up nicely as well about coming up to an aquido yeah stunning river look at this on a stunning aqueduct not sure what river that is possibly the wife old road bridge there look yeah beautiful awesome spin you around the other way gorgeous this canal really is picturesque you want to see if there anyone you need a hand you’re all right oh is there Hello morning how you We’ve crossed over now on the left now we’ve come past that chaos that boat stuck across the canal there i did ask him if they want some help but seem to have it under control so we’re only a few miles from Brecon now yeah it’s beautiful there’s Lisa don’t be elder [Music] oh [Music] yeah all [Music] right so there we go 25 and a bit miles done I think today so it’s about 14 and a bit from here we’re just outside Crick Owl but yeah absolutely gorgeous weather’s come nice it’s a lovely old canal i mean the water’s a chocolatey brown all the way up yeah we had a nice cafe stop in Breen there’s a little cafe there in the canal basin loads of pubs on route stopped and had a couple yeah it’s beautiful so I hope you enjoyed that thank you for watching and I’ll see you on the next one
