And we’re off to day 51, right. Oh, we have to flip the calendar from now on. Hupla! Here comes the sun. Well, let’s hope so. And then on that bridge I did indeed stick my sticker. Speedy Wally! He’s already in Zadar. That sign was already full of stickers, so one more could definitely fit. Ah, sleep tight! Jason and Eva, thanks, it’s almost done. Because I arrived earlier, I was able to do my dishes. I actually caught up on everything. Except cleaning my bike. Time to check tomorrow’s route. It’s been a while since we started indoors, but today it’s necessary. After a tough night with rain, lightning, and thunder, we’re heading into day 52. You are the sun today. Oops. I wasn’t even 20 minutes in, and I was already cold. Then I really thought, yeah, why am I even doing this? Do I still need to? Keep pushing. Right, left. That was the only thing on my mind. Like uh, You’re not giving up now. You’ve come this far. What shitty weather, man. It makes everything so much harder. I think I was a bit hypothermic, to be honest. At one point, I couldn’t even feel my hands or feet anymore. And that hasn’t happened much before. I’m usually pretty warm. I should’ve pulled this over my head. We’re heading into 53. Collect beautiful moments. For 53 days straight, I’ve had some truly beautiful moments. To Bosnia! It’s always a bit nerve-wracking approaching the border. Like, will we make it through or not? Will they stop us or not? By bike, all the way to Bosnia from Belgium. Not bad.
