I've got to say… I'm pretty stumped here. This guy does storage unit auctions and recently came into a bunch of old bikes and bike gear. This frame had been repainted and appears to fit me. He was willing to sell it for $50, but I have no idea what it is. The measurements were right, so I am definitely considering it. The only issue I have is with the old dropouts… Does anyone have any clues or insight into what it might be? Looks to be a classic touring frame.

Yes, it looks like a classic touring frame. Three water bottle spots. Double eyelets on the dropout.
You don’t see pump pegs on the back of the seat tube very often. I wonder how much wheel clearance it has. You could tell a lot more about that if it had wheels.
I wonder what kind of seat clamp it takes.
Since you can’t test ride it, one way to check the alignment of the frame is to tie a string to one dropout, wrap it around the head tube and back to the other dropout. The space from the string to the seat tube should be the same on each side.
It wouldn’t hurt to know the dropout spacing. You don’t want to get home and find that it’s 120mm.
Is the rear dropout spacing 130mm or 135mm? The taller head tube would indicate that is a more modern design. Close-ups of the chainstay and seatstay bridges might be able to help people more knowledgeable than me ascertain who made this frame. It sucks that there is no included fork.
