I’m guessing after adding the volume spacers, you refilled the shock to full psi without cycling the shock every 15-20psi?
If so, start over. Release all the air from the shock… add 15-20psi…. Then cycle the stroke a handful of times (you only need to compress it a few mm)… Rinse and repeat until it’s at the desired psi.
Don’t worry, you haven’t damaged anything.

Careful, I once broke off the seat clamps doing that. Better to test your suspension by standing on the pedals.
