Two hire bikes (one with a rubbing front break) and enough time and energy to complete the roughly 26 mile round trip.
so today’s plan is to try and hire a couple of bikes cycle around Lake Anancy in a very leisurely format uh I think about 26 milesi to cycle around all of it so it should take about what 10 15 minutes to get a wiggle on see if we get some bite size first okay after some initial issues with uh identity cards ID proving who we were and deposits we have two bikes we are good to traverse the lake at least that’s the plan some breakfast first you don’t cut Heat heat [Music] okay tick [Music] it’s very pretty [Music] [Music] yep a stunning scene suffering yeah mine is safe okay at the blue i don’t know if the camera’s picking us up but there is a lot of power gliders up there well we have done 10 miles huh we done 10 nearly [Music] halfway come on there we go heat heat well we made it 15 miles and we thought it was time for an ice cream and coffee stop all right what a beautiful view the lowlying cloud in the background ever since has had that orangeiness she’s been flying all that sugar sugar yeah they’re rushing for lunch yeah you went to lunch today ready are we ready i don’t know if you hold that getting there now that’s not it no back down to the old part we old town okay so that takes us up to 21 miles back through 22 miles one small break for Oraima and a cappuccino and an ice cream time for lunch [Music] we got to one of the two that he recommended the other day thursday market day to what other restaurants [Music] so we finished our little cycle of the lake which took the best part about 5 hours including lunchtop and some coffee and uh we’re going to find ourselves a little place in the park to relax but it’s a French holiday today ascension day and it’s very very busy we’ve made it in not very uh It’s quite shallow though isn’t it yeah yeah it’s quite shallow but yeah very busy the views are just absolutely incredible here there was some low lowlying uh cloud earlier on just below the mountain tops which was exceptional as well but this lake is cold in already [Music]
