The frame protector on my rear triangle started falling off during my ride yesterday. Not sure what caused it to fall off. How do I go about reattaching it? Just clean it real good and use some super glue?
Was also wondering if the chain ring looks too close to the frame. This is my first proper mtb so I’m still learning my way around it.

Chainring is fine
Clean and glue or double sided tape that back on and you’re GTG
Trim it so the chain ring isn’t catching the edge
I don’t know anything about the ripmo but my revel and my transition both have chainrings 1cm or closer to the frame. The frame protector is currently held on with a zip tie on my revel because the adhesive started to fail about 2 years ago. Pretty sure they all start falling off at some point, especially if you get drivetrain cleaner on it.
I’d personally cut that section off because it seems like it will fall off again, but you can try gluing first.
I ripped mine off and installed a shit ton of VHS tape. It’s not silent, but it’s better.
I’ve had them come loose on bikes. Clean the protector and frame the best you can then glue it back on. My go-to glue for most things is E6000 which is sticks to about anything and stays flexible. You can get it online or at Home Depot in the USA.
