Just picked up this old Huffy Cruiser. Just love the lines and how long and low it feels. It’s a little small for me but something about it is pulling me toward a more aggressive laid out setup for it. Thinking of trying some flipped mustache bars or drop bars of some sort and a layback seat post for a sort of racer look. Still mocking up ideas with parts from the bin.
As far as restoration I want to do as little as possible, just wipe away and neutralize any rust (surprisingly little beyond surface). Maybe give it a clearcoat or rub it with a urethane. I like the patina and rust color. I have a Sturmey archer drum brake dynamo front hub which I might put on for extra stopping power. Maybe wire some lights to it.
