here we go morning morning morning beautiful day again stop a beautiful day choking on a fly for a lovely bike ride from Bradford Haven along the Kennet and Haven Canal to Bath stunning day morning morning really can’t wait it’s about a 20 mileer circular route so to bath stop in bath for half hour or so hour fuel up as they say and then uh make our way back weather was not looking so good but to be honest it’s looking stunning now so I’m not going to complain about that that’s for sure all these boots we make our way to the first stop is going to be a tea number 10 tea stop store shop cafe we’re going to have a coffee I think a Mars bar i know it’s the start of the cycle but I set myself a few little goals as we [Music] go it’s a lot of boats down here so the other day when I walked it I walked this way i don’t want half as many boats they’re stacked of boats as they say all [Music] right there yeah yeah hey when’s that new B&M over there 30th oh the 30th all right mate why i just wondered the twins wanted to know ah yeah 30th of May it is all right all right yeah cheers man all right bye bye [Music] come on in morning little bit strong smell of the weed funny smell that is cheers five miles to bath oh this is nice isn’t it wow that is nice right so it’s warly we are the next [Music] stop on this gorgeous day on the Kennet and Haven some interesting characters as you go there people who obviously don’t want to be in the rat race rat run rat race rat race of city life chilling on the river can’t blame them as I said some of the some of the narrow boats are a bit of a mess but they might be nice inside and some are quite nice from the outside so you imagine they’re quite nice inside if you work if they are you know some of them are working because they’re empty they’re not there today they’re working in Bath or whatever cycle to Bath in the morning or wherever you need to get to be perfect and cycle back what a life what a life come on in duckies look at that thing ducks and crow crow going in the water oh duckos yeah some more shapes and sizes on these narrow boats that’s different look at the house go down and have a look at Clavson pumping station before you park they say “Have I come downhill can’t really get anywhere across i don’t fancy going across railroad lines with the with the bike i didn’t realize the bridges have numbers so this is 181 there you go branch [Music] 181 come on in i’m hoping there’s something called a cafe on the barge or the bar on no the cafe on the barge and it’s about 5 minutes away from here so that’s going to be an awesome stop but I am pretty peckish this morning all I had this morning was some a lot of juice and some crunchy nut cornflakes i’m a bit hungry now little bit hungry we’re certainly getting closer to bath that’s for sure what a day what a day we can’t move it we can’t open it or shut it yeah I’ll get something to help you on this side okay Julie you got help coming i will i’m kicking off that is cool that is very nice hi mate beautiful think you got the best spot on the river on the canal on the on the canal after 40 years I’m getting used to it yeah just a little bit very nice have a good mate cheers good mate easily one of the most beautiful cycle rides I’ve done considering the the forecast was just cloudy certainly isn’t cloudy it is stunning morning yeah it is stunning yet another beautiful spot coming into morning so where are we going you are here walks [Music] takes us into Bath and Pney Bridge I suppose which is 500 m away [Music] ding woo that’s a bit of a house that is stunning hour Museum never been there day [Music] [Music] clear hey [Music] Heat [Music] heat [Music] heat heat heat heat n [Music] a quick wander back to that park and the calf there i think maybe get a sandwich or whatever they’ve got and there’s Lu’s there as well which is good i didn’t want to spend too much time in Bath said I’ll get to Bley where do that and then come back something for lunch i usually do it certainly is a lovely day let’s make our way back to that calf sydney Gardens is Sydney Gardens is the name of the calf and it’s got lose well the park name of the park i got the cast sat in the by the entrance and she’s dead handy hey up all right what do I fancy food what have you got i got tomatoes olive pie feta cheese pie sausage roll sausage roll sausage roll yeah and a white Americano please americano do you want me to warm it up uh yeah go on yeah you could do you take cards yeah yeah cheers how much is that 620 [Music] christ that’s hot right swim flies again right 8 and 1 half miles a good stop at the calf good chat with a guy from from the Lake District cycling all around Britain Fair Platon but doesn’t you that’s one parked in Bristol that one
