Hey all!
I got my bike from Halfords (my fault i know but cycle2works scheme and what not) and it fle weird then one day the front gear bent and had it replaced on warranty.
Ingot it back and i couldn't quite figure what it had until today calibrating my brakes (which they did horribly) I realized the bearing is wiggling on the frame (as seen on the video
Is this something to take it back to the shop to fix on the warranty (its been 2 months and i didnt have it for half that time because if the crankset) or is it a fixable by me issue?

Just take it back aslong as the bike is under a year old you shouldn’t have any trouble getting them to sort it, as its actually the bb that is not correctly tightened which depending on wether they had to replace it for the new crankset or not could be either the mechanics fault or the factory who built the bike. Would definitely take the bike elsewhere for service and repair for future none warranty work
If you are handy or willing to learn then watch a park tool video on sqaure taper bb installation, you are gonna need a crank arm extractor and sqaure taper bb tool/ adjustable spanner or ratchet.
the entire cup is moving, which looks like a big deal imo, threads might be screwed, because despite how loose it is, it shouldnt play when its that deep inside, at all
Frame is a write off as far as I’m concerned. The whole BB cup is moving in the frame.
Side note: many bike shops can use the Halfords cycle scheme!
