Looking for some route advice for a mid-April trip to Croatia. Flying in from the US and looking to spend about 6 days riding. Trying to keep it to 50m/80km per day. Trying not to take tents and will schedule lodging ahead of time. Planning to take gravel bikes but would consider hardtail. Would like a mix of islands and mainland. Need to arrive and depart from the same city so looking for a loop (thinking Spit or Dubrovnik but could do further North).

* I have looked at aspects of the Adriatic Crest on [Bikepacking.com](https://Bikepacking.com) but it seems to be more rugged with camping required.
* Euro Velo 8 seems to stay mainly on the mainland but could become part of the route
* Review some of [rollingexistence.com](https://www.rollingexistence.com/) route as well

Any advice on a route? There just seems to be too much one could do that it is hard to put a pin in it.The Northern Pula area looks amazing. I have heard good things about some of the island south of Spit.

Maybe take the EV8 up from Spit (or down from ?) and then circle back up via the islands?

\*\*\*EDIT\*\*\* Just realized that since we are without tents that some of you may not see this as actual bikepacking and more touring. Apologies. This group is my go-to.
