Nothing like a proper clean of the drivetrain. I put the chain in an ultrasonic cleaner and I’m glad I did.

If you like clean, do wax bud. It makes a fresh chain every time and the process time to clean everything is super quick.
Oil and the road dust, brake dust and debris makes a paste in and around your chain that wears down all parts. A wax bath every couple months (I like to wax after every soaking from the rain so it can be more often or less depending on your climate). Waxing will mean your bike stays a lot cleaner as you don’t have oil on it too
