Doesn’t look like a new cassette, so maybe just a new problem. Probably just need to tighten the end cap. I would however take this opportunity to remove, and clean and regrease the threads on the end cap so that it doesn’t easily work itself loose again.

I had it recently new wheels with a 11 speed cassette couldn’t tighten it enough had a spacer put in it was fine.
Wheels said they didn’t need spacer but clearly did.

Chat GTP. is it a 1.85mm spacer? is it a 3.2mm spacer. or is it a 4.6mm spacer? or do they need to tighten the cap with a chain whip and spacer tightening tool? or do they need to install a 3.6mm spacer? Tell us chat GPT. Which is it?

  4. If it’s a Shimano 10sp cassette, you need a 1mm spacer before installing the cassette…without it, you get what we’re seeing. Stop by any shop, & with luck, they’ll donate one to your cause.
