I'm looking to get a new high capacity saddle bag for my cycling trips.
I've narrowed it down to the 18L saddle bag from Restrap and the 17L Big Papa from Alpkit

Does anyone have any experience / recommendations for either?
Can't seem to find many reviews for the Alpkit Big Papa but it looks pretty decent.

I have restrap 14 or 15 liters and I wouldn’t have any larger saddle bag than that
Both excellent personally I’d go for the larger size.
Nope, but have you considered a tailfin Aeropack?
I was going to get the Big Papa, but they’ve been sold out of the brown bag for 6+ months.
Reason I was also drawn to the Big Papa Is the anti-sway bar. You could also get bottle holders for the saddle which are anti-sway for the saddlebag as well.
Between those 2? Absolutely the restrap. Big papa isn’t waterproof. I’ve used the big version of the ortlieb seat pack for 2.5 years and it’s been great
