On the first day of this trip I took the ferry from Leamington to Yarmouth. Plan was to meet up in the afternoon with the guys from Claydon Cycle Club in the afternoon. They stayed at the Whitefields campsite near Brading, but I stayed in an Airbnb nearby. I spent the morning at Ventnor, because I remember it being very nice from my last trip and could see it wasn’t on any of the planned cycle routes for the weekend.

I meet the guys at 4pm and we did a 45km warm up ride ready for the big one the next day.
