Saw these guys all over the place around the Zambia-Zimbabwe border area.
Lots of rumors about what they’re carrying… I chatted them up a bit and even helped one guy keep the cranks turning on a minor uphill.
Some of it is obviously coal or firewood, while others with the big boxes were reportedly souvenir materials and trinkets to be sold by the vendors near the Vic Falls bridge.
In case you haven’t visited this area of the world, let me just say some of the best vibe anywhere.
