The 2025 Tour of Britain Women is currently underway, running from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8. This four-day UCI Women’s WorldTour event marks a significant moment in British cycling, featuring a scenic and challenging route from North Yorkshire to Glasgow.

The race spans 423 km over four stages:

Stage 1 (June 5): Dalby Forest to Redcar (81.5 km) – A hilly opener through the North York Moors National Park.

Stage 2 (June 6): Hartlepool to Saltburn-by-the-Sea (114.3 km) – Features the steep Saltburn Bank climb near the finish.

Stage 3 (June 7): Kelso to Kelso (143.8 km) – The longest and most mountainous stage, set in the Scottish Borders.

Stage 4 (June 8): Glasgow city circuit (84 km) – Ten laps around a fast-paced urban loop, concluding at Glasgow Green.

🌟 Notable Riders

This year’s race is particularly significant as it marks the final British race for Lizzie Deignan, a two-time Tour of Britain Women winner and former world champion. She’ll be competing alongside rising British talents like Cat Ferguson and Imogen Wolff.

The peloton includes a record 18 teams, with 12 from the UCI Women’s WorldTour. Notable competitors include defending champion Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime), Pfeiffer Georgi (Picnic PostNL), and Anna Henderson (Lidl-Trek).
