  1. “Just like most bike forums, if you can only take one picture of your bike, TAKE A PICTURE OF THE DRIVE SIDE!” Hope this helps.

  2. I own a 1984 Basso Gap, came with Campy Nuevo Record. Your crank arms appear similar. But your brake pads appear that your group is older, maybe early 80s. $400-800 sounds about right. I’d pay it, it’s a totally sweet ride comparable to the top of the Italian lines back then…comparable to DeRosa and Pinarello. The decal on the down tube should be Columbus SL or SLX for their best steel tubing used.

  3. Wheels true? Shifts cleanly? Bike tracks straight? If that’s all good, seller will probably take $400. If you’re feeling generous, go the extra. 🙂

  4. Update: thanks for the input, everyone. I bought it for $370. Wheels are true. Columbus SL. Any suggestions for how to clean grease off a campy nuovo record rear derailleur? 🙂

  5. I just spent $800 shipped on an E Merckx with Super Record. But it needs pedals and brake levers to be complete.
