All- in a newby looking for my first road bike. Saw this Scott CR1 on Facebook for $500. Does it look to be in good condition? Specifically, I can’t tell if the drive train looks good or not. I feel like it’s fine, but hard to tell since I havent seen a whole lot. Let me know y’all’s thoughts please!

I also notice a damaged spoke on the back wheel! (Left side 5th picture)
Not bad. This is from about 2011-12, so inspect it thoroughly. Expect to need to spend $ on new tires, pedals, and brake pads at the very least. At worst, you could also need cables, a cassette, and chain.
The spoke thing might be nothing, it may just be someone’s attempt to tape a speed sensor magnet to a spoke and the visual interplay with the bricks behind the bike making it look weird in the photo.
Offer $400 and see where you land?
