Reposting as my original was "very low effort" and deleted.
Thursday was NBD, I was thrilled to get my new bike and put it together. Somehow the axle got stuck in the fastening nut (not sure what it's actually called) on the opposite side of the fork, and I could no longer adjust the axle or nut so i wasn't able to get either out of the fork. Ultimately, the lever on the axle ended up breaking off and i was then able to pass the axle and nut(still attached in photo) out through the nuts side.
I submit a claim with Canyon but apparently their customer support is in training and not processing claims today. Is this Maxle something that I may be able to find in stores, or is it something propietary that i'll need to wait on Canyon for a replacement? Either way, will share a photo of the bike on new axle day!
