Hey all, first time posting here. A few months back i got this bike to commute to work. A few weeks ago on a ride i felt a slip or something happen. Ever since then ive not been able to get into my highest gear, which is where i ride the most confortable. It is a 7 gear bike. Any tips and advice is welcome. I have some tools and have worked on cars before but never bikes. I thought to ask here and see if this is something im able to fix, or if i should take it into a shop.

Is the shifter clicking to the highest gear, but the chain isn’t shifting up or is the shifter not allowing you to shift to the highest gear?
It’s scared of the saddle
