Oh, how I enjoyed my time in Bosnia and Herzegovina from April 1st to the 10th. My cycling adventure through Bosnia and Herzegovina brought me to Stolac, Mostar, Sarajevo, Visegrad and all the small villages in between.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a diverse country with a complicated history. Through the complexities, the people have learned to find simplicity and peace through forgiveness and truth about their past.
Every bullet hole in the buildings serves as a reminder of what hatred can do to a country and a people. The people though, they are reminders of what kindness and love can do for a country and a people. Love wins every time!
Not only is the history important to understand in Bosnia and Herzegovina but the people and food rock!
