Omg you're the best, so informative and funny video, keep going and thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and sympathy
Thumb up,
I like and enjoy your advice.
It's all about riding and having fun.
Without thinking about comments from somen else.
Some one always knows it better what is good for me.
I take proposals from you if they fit to me and they do most of time.
Thank's Dusty
P.S. don't mind my engish๐
I wish I would have learned early on about the rain gear going OVER the jacket rather than relying on the jacketโs liner!
This mindset i like.
So true! I wish I knew it couple years ago ๐
But I did almost everything opposite ๐
Good luck to everyone on they first ADV experience! Just go and ride! Everything else will follow ๐
Nice spot
simply the best!
Good rant ๐
Great video. Thanks for the tips.
Hi , ADV professionals ! Dusty and Bret Tkacs . Please , get out of the woods . We , americans , live in a big cities , like New York City . Not in a bushes , like you do . Come over . Build , at least , small training places . And give the cheap , not expensive $2-3 thousand , as now you do , courses . We will take them . Otherwise , it`s a cheap talk .
Cheers !
ADV? It's a riding leisuretime, not a buying spree. Dusty is right. You can't buy experience. Go for a ride instead. Gรผnter/Nรผrnberg

Just go ride!
Hey Dusty! did you need raisers on those bars? I just bought a Norden, at 6'1" I will try to roll the bars first before I install raisers. As is the bars feel a bit low for my height.
I have to say. This is the REALEST ADV motorcycle channel out there. No BS. Just real stuff! Not making things complicated at all! Same goes for all of their other videos! I love this channel! Glad I found it!
Is it normal to drop your new adv bike off-roading? I've already dropped my brand new 2024 Africa Twin 4 times in two weeks.
What sag figures did you get on the 901? Although I'm of standard weight (85kg) it could get nowhere near what I like (around 30%). I've had to buy much softer springs.
What GPS is shown in the video?
Iโm looking to get into riding after 6 years off of not owning a bike. Iโve only been on cruisers and sport bikes on pavement. Do you have any videos or tips in general on switching from pavement to ADV? This was a great video but Iโm looking for how to get started in ADV I guess more than anything
Your story telling is ๐
I am coming late to comment on this video but I noticed Dusty has a microphone on his right strap and a whip antenna poking out his backpack. Guess it's a two-way radio but did Dusty ever talked about it in any other videos? What radio is that? Thanks!
Loved it all the way๐
Loved this video. Skills training, the how and the why, extremely helpful.
Love this guy. Great advice.
This was a great video โค
PIN IT and PRAY
Wow I love your presentation. You have convinced me to get a bike again after selling off my a few years ago. tq.
Thanks ๐
I love going by myself. Cover a lot more miles, do what I want. I always bring some audiobooks to play while riding or while at camp for something to listen to.
Classic, love it. Bring your hanky so you can dry your tears when you drop your new bike.
Outstanding. Just get out and ride, I like this message.
Love your energy!
