So i want to buy a new bike this summer(the torque 5) and I’m not sure whether i should get the M or the L size.

I am 180 cm tall, aprox. 84 cm inseam and aprox. 68 cm from my groin to the pit of the neck.

I have a playful riding style. Mostly urban downhill and bike park occasionally. I like steep descents, tech trails and jumps.

i come from a really small bike (that’s why i want to upgrade primarily) so i’m used to having the possibility to produce pretty much torque while bunny hopping or jumping but my back hurts on longer rides when I’m mostly on the saddle (that’s why i’m thinking of a slightly bigger bike).

Any help would be appreciated and I hope i could make a decision after this post.

Size wise I’d say you’ll be more comfortable on a Large, the bike will feel more stable for you overall, but if you want the bike to be more playful, get a medium. You could always compliment the size you go for with a longer or shorter stem, depending on which way you go of course.
