Looking to buy a set. I know sks bluemels 65mm fit my frame but on PDW website it says I need 71mm clearance which I don’t have. If they measure exactly 65mm I’m all good cos the SKS cleared. Any help appreciated!
My SKS fenders are silver and are going on someone else’s bike. I Want black fenders to match my bike better but I can’t find any simple looking sks in black in 65mm. I wanna try fancy metal fenders anyway as well.
Also tempted by Velo Orange 60mm fenders but my maxxis dth 2.15 measure 53/54mm with a calliper on the rims I’m using so not sure about clearance.

So I don’t have that exact size, but I have their 700×45 fenders. Their site says it requires 51mm to fit. The fenders measure 45mm on the dot.
For what it’s worth I’m running 54mm tyres on a bike with those Bluemels (black) and have had no problems.
Obligatory question: what are those bars?
Side note if you don’t find any other fender option: the 60 mm Bluemels fit those tires!
For what it’s worth, you can always trim fenders to fit. Trimming them tighter at the chainstays is a favorite past time with fat fenders end skinny tubes
Nice bike like that deserves some proper fenders. SKS are floppy plastic junk. I can say that confidently having gone through 4 pairs of them.
this might not be super helpful to answer your question but I’ve just installed SKS Chromoplastic P65 on my GT with CST 26×2.1. plenty of clearance and i still have to trim about 20-25mm of excess stay brackets to get tight fitting . i might leave them as-is for now just in case i am upsizing the tires.
which rack do u have up-front ? I’m hunting for one too as i don’t have any boss mount on the fork 🙁
