It’s a decent starter bike, but the price is maybe a bit too high for that bike. It’s about 25 years old, and you would be extremely limited on any possible upgrades. Also it would take maybe 23 mm tires at best so the ride would be harsh.
Way too old for that much
$250-300 is reasonable
I personally wouldn’t pay more than $250 and would try to find something more modern
