If it’s not a press fit, then put the bearing in the freezer and it will work. However…. Good luck getting it out if it goes bad.

  2. Is that the lower bearing?
The lower one will be larger than the upper, but both should drop in and out with little to no force unless you get it tilted at all

Looks like the wrong specs to me.

Contact the frame manufacturer and find out what specs their integrated system needs. Ask for specific brand recommendations too.

I just went through this and learned there are a crazy amount of variations and you need to get the correct bearings.

  4. Use a caliper and measure the diameter of the bearing seat in different places.
It can just be a bad frame (had one myself last year). My guess, the seat is ovalized, what was the case with my frame. I returned the frame, got a new one which worked perfectly.

There are both is51 and is52 lower bearings. Can you verify which the frame should use and the size of the current bearing? Potentially get some calipers on the frame to measure the bore. It could be a mix-up and someone grabbed the wrong size.
