This was a fun one for a customer at the shop. Before and after

Had a customer come in with this same bike but in black with pink logos. Was super stoked on the deal he got but it was 3 sizes to small, missing a crank arm, needed wheels and was going to be expensive to rebuild with new parts. I happened to have this hard rock on the “as-is” rack at my shop and traded him for his bike that was to small. Dude was super pumped and wants to go basketpacking and gave me free rein to dig into my parts bin and build it how I saw fit. A mix of different generation shimano XT, SLX 10spd, some bontrager disc wheels that had perfect rim brake rims in them(needed to accommodate the 10spd cassette) reused the original brakes, pt some fresh Mezcals, velo orange bars, sunliterack with wall basket and a solid afternoon of rebuilding/overhauling everything and this is what I came up with.
