Got my two year old Grizl 7 1by back from inspection and found the following text on the backside of the invoice:
"A spacer for 1 1/8" fork steerers was installed on the headset, making the headset unadjustable. The headset was adjusted indirectly, and the incorrect spacer was reinstalled. This spacer urgently needs to be replaced."
Nothing has been changed on the fork since purchase - Canyon FK0087 CF Disc 1 1/4".
Unfortunately I don't understand which component is the problem now and why the workshop didnt just repair it. Could it be a mistake during assembly at the factory or is the technician on the wrong track?
Someone got an idea?
