I know the camera never does justice to how steep a slope actually is, but… (as an XC racer in the U.S. Midwest)…that doesn't look that bad.
Now riding up it, at race speeds? That would be really tough.

this is why I like XC racing now, it's the true mtb race series imo. downhill has turned into F1 racing all about speed and that's why injuries are getting so bad. the tracks are too fast, mtb should be full of rock gardens and chunk and drops an technical climbing, not 40mph groomed straights
