have otherwise been bike commuting for a dozen years now, but got an e-bike late last year in anticipation of moving to a new house (that’s 13 miles and 2200 feet of elevation away from work). Around half of the ride is through lovely forests like these. This particular road is not often trafficked by cars when I’m on it, and cars tend to go down it slower than bikes, so it makes for a nice ride! (though I did eat it on a patch of ice a few weeks ago — no serious damage but did get a bit scraped up)
