Title.
I was degreasing my chain tonight and missed routing the chain through the correct side of the guide plate on the back of my 105 Di2 rear derailleur. Thankfully I caught it while I was putting wax on chain thanks to the awful noise, and remedied the issue before the bike was ever ridden. It does look like the chain managed to eat some metal off the catch plate itself and I was already able to order a replacement plate in case it’s ever an issue in the future. Is there anything I should be worried about before riding tomorrow morning?

Nothing but a scratch. Keep riding.
That tab only matters when the chain looses tension, such as when removing the rear wheel or dropping a chain. When riding normally it serves no purpose, I wouldn’t even consider replacing it if it was my own bike.
I did this, then rode my bike for 75+ km thinking it was a normal amount of noise breaking in a waxed chain…my bike, chain, and rear mech are all fine.
