This is not a good fork in general. Quick search brings up bladder damper. These things break quite often. Fox and rock shox stepped away from the design in favour of open / closed cartridge for ages now. It’s also said to be stiff on small bumps (another point for bad dampening).
I’d look for a used Manitou Dorado, should be equally cheap but miles and miles better
