Hey r/bicycling! I hope this is an appropriate place to post this, but I recently came across this cool Fuji frame and I was trying to dig up some info on it and have basically found a dead end. By observing the logo, I think I can narrow it down to either 1989 or 1990.
Yet, this particular frame, and in fact anything made of aluminum, does not show up in the catalogues I found online. Does anyone know about Fuji making aluminum frames around these years? Or, any info at all about this frame would be awesome!
The bike itself has a tag indicating 'handcrafted Japanese tubing' or something like that and I did read off the serial number, but that did not end up helping me identify it.
I found another blog post with another indication of a dead end researching this particular bike, and suggesting that the LX7 on it refers to the tubing rather than the model name.
Again, if anyone knows really anything about the genesis or history of this bike I would be very interested! Thanks!
