While changing tubes, I noticed there was a small gap in the wheel where the weld would be. Is this a factory defect? Will it affect my ability to go tubeless which I plan to do soon? Do I contact Canyon or DT Swiss about this issue?
Bike is Ultimate CF 7, Mechanical 105. I’ve had the bike for about 9 months at this point and never noticed until my brother noticed the light hit the wheel in just the right way to show the gap.

That’s normal for the ln wheels (endurance ln, gravel ln….). This is a sleeve joint, not welded (higher priced wheels are welded to make this unnoticeable). I run mine even tubeless without a problem
