Hi,
I have an Ultimate and Aeroad and am looking to scratch the itch of N+1. I am looking at the Enduraces.

First up: im torn between keeping the Aeroad-it is a CF SLX 7 with Rival and the deep DT Swiss wheels. I love riding it, but don’t get to as much as I would like to because I live in a pretty windy place and find myself reaching for the ultimate more often.

Should I sell it and get the Endurace?
Should I keep it and get the Endurace to complete the trifecta?

If yes to either of the above, then which Endurace should I get?

The CFR with Sram Red is currently on sale for 7299$ https://www.canyon.com/en-us/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/cfr/endurace-cfr-axs/3714.html?dwvar_3714_pv_rahmenfarbe=R072_P01 and is pretty much flawless.

The CF Slx 7, which would be a great budget compromise is sold out in my size but they have a CF Slx 8 with force and AR 60 wheels for 5199$ https://www.canyon.com/en-us/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/cf-slx/endurace-cf-slx-8-axs-ar60/4330.html?dwvar_4330_pv_rahmenfarbe=R077_P10 but I dislike the wheel depth profoundly as it would present the same issue i am currently facing with the Aeroad…the wind.

On my ultimate CF SL 7 Axs i have both the stock wheels which are lower profile DT Swiss and a separate set of carbon wheels with a 50mm profile which fit the entire spectrum of my needs and aren’t too bad like the 60s or the rear wheel on my aeroad that I believe is a 62mm.

Reaching out to you all for help on deciding where to go from here. Maybe I should wait and see what new Enduraces with Sram they get in stock next.

If you’re going to add another bike to the quiver, I’d look at the Grail or the Grizl, which will really open up your riding terrain. I love my Ultimate and my Grizl. The only reason I’d get a new bike is due to the mileage I’ve put on them. Either way, you can’t go wrong with the Canyon family!
